Addiction Awareness Now – Break the Silence with Imke Ahlf-Wien
Health and nutrition educator Imke Ahlf-Wien engaged us in a conversation about substance use disorder in an hour long Zoom presentation and discussion. As we disrupt stigma, fear, and myth with more informed addiction knowledge and awareness, we are better able to accumulate and process accurate information. This allows us to make educated decisions about alcohol, drugs, and other behaviors that put our health at risk. We are also better able to seek help for ourselves or for our loved ones.
At the end of the talk Imke held a discussion with participants.
