Join us for a talk by Glover Park historian Carlton Fletcher as he discusses how he discovered and collected hundreds of artifacts right from our very own Glover Park! Check out examples on Carton’s website.
You’ll get a chance to see and touch some of these marvelous old items. Imagine Glover Park as an ancient sea when you hold a seashell fossil embedded in limestone found near Guy Mason Recreation Center. See other items like a fantastic old dog tag from the 30’s – why is it heart shaped?
