In honor of Veterans Day, Beth Miles will lead us on a visit to Glover Park’s oldest historic site, to mark the gravesites of soldiers and sailors who served in eight American wars. Thanks to research by Carlton Fletcher, Glover Park’s local historian and editor of gloverparkhistory.com, we can share stories about these forgotten men and women – and explore this beautiful hilltop site. 

Maps, texts, and flags will provided. 

Meet at 11:00am Saturday, November 11 inside the Holy Rood Cemetery gate 
(2128 Wisconsin Avenue).

For your safety: Wear sturdy shoes and dress for the weather.  Expect walking on hills, grass, and uneven paths.
