Glover Park Food Support Program

Working with partners in the DC area, we are pleased to launch our food support program!

Post pandemic inflation is leading to increasing food prices and changes in government assistance have left many of us wondering how we will afford fresh produce and quality sources of protein.

The new Glover Park Village Food Support Program aims to provide some relief and with the expertise of GPV volunteers, we are launching a program using the SHARE system. This food box will contain fresh fruits, vegetables, as well as protein at a reasonably priced $25 (worth at least $50).

Information for ordering your food box and delivery.

  1. Order your $25 box by the 12th of each month.

  2. Click on the ORDER NOW button below to place your order

  3. The box will be delivered to you by a GPV volunteer on the 3rd Friday of the month between 2:00-5:00 p.m. on date specified in the list below.

  4. You must be home to receive the delivery.

  5. ENJOY!

We are looking for volunteers to support us with this program!

Many thanks to the Glover Park Citizen’s Association for a subsidizing start-up grant. Other partners in this effort include the Friends of Guy Mason, Guy Mason Department of Recreation, and the residents of Glover Park. We would also like to thank GPV volunteer Barbara Ferris.
