As a volunteer-driven, community-supported organization, Glover Park Village is able to succeed by the generosity of individuals and groups of civic-minded people throughout our community. We are so fortunate to have volunteers of all ages lending neighbors a helping hand as well as assisting in the development of our Village.

We have lots of services volunteers can do and we do not require a weekly minimum time commitment, we welcome any assistance and time you can offer. It is because of our amazing volunteers that our village thrives!

Here are some ways you can help with our service recipients:

• Transportation/Escort - URGENTLY NEEDED (medical appointments and grocery shopping)

• Running errands (grocery shopping pickup and pharmacy pickup)

• In-home assistance (minor maintenance, organizing, cleaning)

• Outdoor assistance (gardening tasks, snow removal)

• Social isolation mitigation (email, telephone, and in-person check-ins)

• Assistance with electronics (help with email, computers, TV hookups)

• Organizing social opportunities (outings to restaurants and cultural events)

• One on One Technology Training

• Telephone Checkins

• Communications (printing flyers, posting flyers, stuffing envelopes)
